Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend  Next Entry
I've started my book. I got halfway through the first chapter and decided to write it from an outside perspective instead of as myself. I'm doing it as someone looking in at my life. This first book is going to be about everything from Feb '03 until now and then I'm going to do more books focusing on each individual event. They will go into more detail. Any advice that you have will be honored. I'm having a hard time deciding rather to write it as myself or the other way. What do you think?

Cchhhhpfff ... mine are the best ... I have a new account. I cant remember it right now.

About how you want to write it:

If you want people to know your opinions on everything, and be able to express everything to the full extent without people knowing whether or not its about YOU or not (unless you want people to know its about you) then you should write it in 3rd person.

If you want to be opinionated and write it as your perspective on things, then write it as yourself.

Then you could always write it as if someone is actualy reading it - for instance they have their own life, and they come across your book and begin to read it and they can either relate or express how they feel (however that is) according to how you want them to view it - or in other words - make the person that finds and reads the book how you want the audience to view the book.

Nice boobs. heh .. and its been awhile. I mean, uh ... talking to you - not seeing your boobs. Holla

I'll answer that for him...he's asleep l0l...and he went to rehab not too long ago...and he's pretty much the same ol' Nathan...which uh, yeah isn't that great, but he seems to be doing fine. =P

Nathan's a good guy. He's had some hard times that have left him with problems that will stick with him for the rest of his life but overall I'm sure one day he'll say it was worth it. I wish the best for him.

Yeah, he really is...but he's majorly spoiled because if he gets put in jail...which he's been over 10 times, his mom or his dad go and get him out EVERY time...and I realize that he's had a few problems and stuff...but he's been to rehab and he's still doing drugs, and I love him to death, and not just because he's my brother, but because he's nice when he wants to be and everything and I just really wish he'd get out and get a job and stick with that job for a while...you know? But anywho, do you mind if I add your AIM name to my buddy list?

Nathan's drug problem is what I was referring to when I said that he's got things that will stick with him for the rest of his life. I know first hand it's not easy to stop. Drugs, especially the ones he's on, will take over your life and it's impossible to eat, sleep or even think without them at times. If was to get a good job that he enjoys he would get alot better. My job saved my life. There's no telling where I would be if it wasn't for this job. I started working here shortly after I got kidnapped/raped and it brought me out of a big rut that I put myself in. I relied on other people to make me happy and I've found out that if you can't make yourself happy, no one else can either and if you don't love yourself you can't expect someone else to. Things will turn out ok for Nathan sooner or later. He's not a kid anymore. It's time for his parents to make him grow up. I know it's hard because I'm a parent too but I didn't learn how to take care of myself until my grandparents stopped doing it. I'm in wonderful shape now financially, mentally and physically because of it too.

Well thats good that you did...not alot of people can like turn their lives around like that...and hopefully things will turn out good for Nathan. ^_^
